Development of Organic Rankine Cycle Generation
Challoch Energy helped Biomass Partners (UK) Ltd with the development of a biomass CHP facility at the Rotherwas Industrial Estate. The work involved helping the funder, Abundance Investments with due diligence on the project. In addition, due to grid constraints, Challoch developed and implemented a SCADA system to control the generation of the biomass plant to enable WPD to permit connection of this power plant to the network with massive reinforcement costs.
Subsequently, Challoch is now helping Biomass Partners with the development of an Organic Rankine Cycle generation at one of their sites.
